If you’re a CMoore Medical client, we have every evaluation, service record, maintenance log and user manual stored for your equipment.  We look for clues about past repairs to find potential causes before we disassemble your equipment.

Most equipment has a set of manufacturer guidelines that provide a good starting point for troubleshooting.  We routinely check power supplies, fuses, cables, and external connections.  These are inexpensive and can save time and money if addressed before equipment troubleshooting.

We use service manuals and schematics to isolate malfunctioning circuit boards. Often, the issue involves a voltage malfunction, so we use specialized tools to measure voltage and perform signal tracing.

We use specialized tools to pinpoint faulty components like resistors, capacitors, transistors, and sensors.  All these components require years of experience and training with hands-on knowledge about specific equipment functionality.  Our team has over 100 years of combined experience in accurate diagnosis and medical equipment repair.

Finally, we help our clients make good decisions regarding equipment evaluation. Sometimes, it’s appropriate to buy a replacement part and keep the equipment running. Other times, it might be better to sell the equipment and buy a newer machine. We help with sales and provide loaners to help lower downtime.

If we can repair the equipment, our technician puts the new component through vigorous testing before leaving your facility.  We certify that your equipment is inspection-ready and safe before we go!

After returning to our offices, we will send a complete service record and all information regarding any new part installed.  These records will become a permanent part of your file and will be included in the next inspection along with new calibration procedures.
